Man, I can't believe it's almost the end of October already. This month has really shot by. I've found that as I've got older, the months and years seem to pass more quickly. And yet, it's been two weeks since my last post, and nothing much has changed. Hmmm...
My Labour weekend was poos. Well, Sunday was pretty good - hanging out with my folks and the cats all day, but Saturday and Monday I worked open to close. I gotta get a job that lets me have public holidays off. Although I guess I get paid like time and a half for Monday, and I get a day in lieu, so it's not all bad.
I've had my new car for, what? Like, three weeks, I think... And I'm still loving cruising around in it. I'm wondering just when the new car coolness will wear off, and it will become just another method of transport...
Hmmm, someone at work said something yesterday that made me fell horribly old. We were talking about scary movies, and Katy, one of the downstairs people, said that she found Resident Evil: Apocalypse quite scary, or shocky at least. She also said that the scariest movie she could remember was Jurassic Park. I found this a little odd, until she explained that she went to see it at the movies when it came out, when she was around four or five. Bloody Hell. I saw that film when it came out, and I was around sixteen. That comparison - four or five to sixteen - made me feel far older that our current ages, nineteen and thirty-one. Although now that I think about it, thirty-one is quite old. It's getting into that growing up, settling down age range... Oh dear...
